What started as a single-oven kitchen on Amsterdam Avenue has grown into one of New York's most recognized pizza destinations — and every slice still tastes like it was made with the same love as the first.
Jet's pizza was founded in 1998 by brothers Marco and Dominic Jet, who emigrated from Naples with a single ambition: to share the authentic flavors of Italian pizza with the people of New York. They sourced local produce, imported San Marzano tomatoes, and milled their own flour blend — a tradition we proudly continue to this day.
Over the years, Jet's pizza has become a cornerstone of the Upper West Side community. We've fed families, celebrated milestones, and become a regular ritual for thousands of New Yorkers. 2003
First Expansion
Following overwhelming demand, Jet's pizza doubles its kitchen capacity and adds 40 new seats. The famous "Jet's Classic" and "Truffle White" pizzas debut on the menu and instantly become bestsellers.
2008
Community Recognition
Jet's pizza wins the New York Food Award for Best Independent Pizzeria. The team launches a community school lunch initiative, donating over 5,000 slices to local students each month.
2014
Online & Delivery Launch
Jet's pizza launches its first online ordering platform and delivery service, making authentic New York pizza accessible across Manhattan and beyond. Orders surge 300% in the first year.
2019
Catering & Events
We officially launch Jet's Catering, bringing our hand-crafted pizzas to corporate events, weddings, and large gatherings. Our catering team serves its first 1,000-person event in Central Park.
2024
New Era of Jet's Pizza

Step inside Jet's pizza and you'll find warm lighting, exposed brick, and the intoxicating scent of fresh dough and roasted tomatoes. Our dining room seats 60 guests in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere perfect for families, date nights, and quick lunches alike.
We also offer outdoor seating on Amsterdam Avenue during warmer months, bringing a little Italian sidewalk-café energy to the heart of New York's Upper West Side.
